SSL not working correctly

I'm trying to get shared SSL working off the hostname. When I go to say https://host.name.com/whm it works, same with /webmail. but https://host.name.com:2087 doesnt work nor does https://host.name.com or https://host.name.com/~user it says host host.name.com have sent an incorrect or unexpected message error code 12263 - Anyone know what might be up with that?

Do I need <IfDefine SSL> for the hostname in httpd.conf?

Anyone have an idea of what to check? It's doing the same for a new ssl site but the ones already on are working... I've compared the configs as they look the same..

I resolved the ssl for cpanel etc directly but the ~user doesnt work. I added <ifdefine ssl>

Do you have mod_userdir turned off or on in WHM >> Tweak Security?

adding the <IfDefine SSL> to my httpd conf file worked for me as well. Now a good question would be why didn't cpanel add that?

Did you ever find a solution to this issue. I am having it and blocking a cluster now.

edge at the moment seems to have a problem generating the ssl .pem file ,,,, have a look in

/usr/local/cpanel/etc

do you have cpanel.pem file in place ?
