SSL Wildcard install problem

When i install SSL Wildcard from WHM getting this error pls help me fix it:

Attempting to verify your certificate..... Cerificate verification passed!
Verifcation Result [/C=VN/O=*.mydomain.net/OU=https://services.choicepoint.net/get.jsp?GT64807436/OU=See www.rapidssl.com/cps (c)05/OU=Domain Control Validated - RapidSSL(TM)/CN=*.mydomain.net]

You generate the CSR as *.domain.com but you install it as foo.domain.com where foo is the specific subdomain you are trying to wildcard on that particular server.

We tried almost everything now . We have a wildcard for several servers under our domain but we always got this error message as above. Tried to generate a csr on the server "subdomain".domain.com instead of *.domain.com but got this instead then:
Attempting to verify your certificate..... Modulus mismatch, key file does not match certificate. Please use the correct key file

any clue how to install the wildcard ssl on cpanel server?

You'll have to use the SSL manager and download the proper keyfile and paste it into WHM. Sometimes it seems to grab the wrong keyfile.

so you will manually paste the key and the cert in the boxes.
