Start Bind Problem

Hi, to restart the BIND server the following message appears:
named has failed, please contact the sysadmin (result was "named is not running").
Has anyone had this problem? And the first DNS configuration with CPANEL.

Hello there,

You are going to have to check the server's logs to figure out what named is not starting. If you can get to a shell prompt, you can try restarting it there, and see if it flags any errors on the screen:

service named restart
