Stats skipping around

My stats on one of my servers are skipping around like crazy. In the past, when stats have been skipped for several days, it always catches up and processes back stats when it gets going again. However, now it just skipped a week and a half long period and started again without ever processing the stats from that week and a half period. How can I get it to process those stats, or are they gone forever?
