Question [statscheck] Stats/Server Overload on server.domain.com

    Hi all

From a week ago im receveid this email of two in two hours [statscheck] (whm) with the following message:

IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
This is cPanel stats runner on server.domain.com !
While processing the log files for user pnsm, the cpu has been
maxed out for more then a 6 hour period. The current load/uptime line on the server at the time of
    this email is
    11:08:33 up 8 days, 31 min, 0 users, load average: 2.84, 1.43, 1.31
You should check the server to see why the load is so high and take
steps to lower the load. If you want stats to continue to run even with a high load; Edit
/var/cpanel/cpanel.config and change extracpus to a number larger then 0 (run
/usr/local/cpanel/startup afterwards to pickup the changes).
Any sugestions to correct this issue its always the same user PNSM that is causing this ..

Any sugenstion / help will be apreciated .

    Thz in advanced

Thsi is normal. You received this mails becasue your server maintain serverload over than 1.
Try find out what problem to make your serverload high.

Here's the fix for that annoying email notification problem:

Step 1: backup the web pages, email, database(s), and any cron jobs for pnsm account.

Step 2: Login to your web host manager and terminate pnsm hosting account.

Step 3: Now re-create pnsm hosting account and re-upload only the webpages, images and database(s) if any. Do not use the cpanel account restore feature to do this.

Now, the problem is solved. You'll never receive that annoying email again.

Could it not just be one step?

    1. Remove the logs for the account that is causing the problem

Then there's nothing for Cpanel to process

You can try that also. But for someone that doesn't know how to remove the log files can still use the 3 steps method.
