    Default stopping access via http://hostname/~username

    hi there

I would like to know how to stop people accessing http://www.myserversname.com/~customername

I have read that dabbling with CanonicalName in httpd.conf can help,
but I am wary since this can apparently nobble Front Page.

    Any help/advice appreciated.

    Dude

Go into WHM >> Security >> Security Center and make sure the 'Apache mod_userdir Tweak' is enabled. In that same interface, you can allow specific sites access with /~username if you need to.
