a) import long domain from ensim using the enXim to cpanel importer

b) find out that cpanel has an 8 character limit on quotas, change account name to something under 8 characters so account has proper quota

ie. /home/longdomain changed to /home/domain

c) move account from /home/domain to /home2/domain using the cpanel mover

d) webmail breaks, got an error in IMAP and webmail, no new mail appears using horde, sqmail displays permission error in /home/longdomain

temporary fix was to link the directory

ln /home2/domain longdomain -s


now, i'm happy it's working again, but there are other domains on the server that need it as well. any easy resolution? can i edit a file somewhere?
