strange ls and strange msg

Hello,
from this morning, If i am in ssh I receive this message about 1 times/minute :

Message from syslogd@server1 at Fri May 16 16:01:40 2003 ...
server1 last message repeated 3 times

and if I type a simple ls -l I receive this :

/bin/ls: unrecognized prefix: do
/bin/ls: unparsable value for LS_COLORS environment variable

followed by the list.

Do you know what is this ?
