Strange problem regarding cPanel FTP and WHM

Hello,

I run cPanel/WHM 11 on a CentOS VPS.

My problem is that, I created a reseller account applied priviliges etc. Now when I goto login to this reseller account (WHM) it works no problems...I can create sub-accounts etc. However, if I try to login to the reseller's FTP account or cPanel account it simply refuses to authenticate my (correct) login details.

This seems to be similar to what happens to the root account, by default it has no FTP or cPanel access.

Are there any settings I can change to fix this issue, or am I simply missing something right in front of me

EDIT: This is not true for ALL reseller accounts - just one in particular!
