    Default Sub-domain 403 Forbidden

I just randomly had a sub-domain that has been working for ages just start showing a 403 forbidden error. No changes have been made to any htaccess or permissions.

    I have tried the following:

    chmod -R user.nobody public_html
    chmod -R user.user public_html
recompile apache with and without suexec
    restarted apache and bind
checked httpd.conf and all is well

This is the only subdomain out of 25+ that are not working, and all domains on the server are fine other than this one. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked the permissions on the subdomain subdirectory within the public_html directory? They ought to be 755 and your public_html ought to be 750.
