sub domain redirect help

Hello,

I would be forever thankfull if some can explain how to redirect a sub-domain to another url in the web host manager.

Here is a example:

URL: http://store.more4you.com/
DNS Config Info: store IN CNAME affiliate.storecash.com


The subdomains are already created in the control panel where they redirect from.

Any help would be appreciated.

edit the httpd.conf file and point it to where ever you want.

/usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf

There is a way to do this inside of the web host panel. I believe you edit the dns zone.

It shows the subdomain - 1400 - a - i.p.

I believe you change the - a - to - cname - then change the - i.p. - to the redirect domain.

When I do this nothing happens, but when our previus tech did it the site went down while propagation then it worked fine.

Anyone know how to explain this process?
