subdomain problem - a 500 Internal Server Error

Hi

After add a sundomain on a host , with/without index file , I get this error :

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, admin@sitename.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.


Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What's the problem ?

If you have access to apache logs, check it for errors..or contact the support....

Where can i find the apche log ?

It should be /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log ....

have you uploaded any thing to the subdomain?

I test without and with a index.html file !

I use apache 1.39 and php 5.2.4

error 500 when access an file that not exist (404 normaly)
