    Default Subdomains for Google Apps

I have a hosting client that uses Google Apps. Getting the email to work was no problem, but now they're wanting to access their old features by subdomain. Like:

    http://docs.mydomain.com
    http://mail.mydomain.com

    And so on.

Is there an easier way to do this, other than manually creating subdomains to redirect to https://docs.google.com/a/mydomain.com, etc?

    TIA,

    Jason

I generally add the following entries in the DNS zone file for the domain:

    Code:
     mail IN CNAME ghs.google.com.
    docs IN CNAME ghs.google.com.
    and so on...

You shouldn't need to create the sub-domains manually.

The above solution to edit the DNS zone (via WHM's DNS Functions) should work without issue to allow the desired sub-domains to be served from the Google Apps service; in addition, the same step of editing the DNS zone may be used for changing the MX records so the domain's mail exchanger (mail server) is also hosted by Google Apps.
