    Default .tar.gz files corrupt

I run 2 servers. 1 is a dedicated server with 70+ clients onboard and 1 cheap reseller account on a different that i use purely for backup purposes.
on my dedicated i use the ftp backup facilty, with daily selected so as all of my clients are backed up onto the cheap reseller server this has worked out brilliantly untill recently. i have now noticed recently that for some reason i cannot open all of the backed up .taz.gz files. when i try to open them in winrar it says "acountname.tar.gz: Unexpected end of archive" (note accountname = each various account name)

    can any shed some light????

It's probably a bug in winrar. You need to look into them using the same utility that made them, i.e. tar

I am having the same exact issue, and from reading cPanel forums quite a few are. It was working great until about 2 weeks ago when I upgraded cPanel.

I believe this is 100% an error in a recent cPanel update.

    Any help on this anyone?

I recommend letting our technical analysts take a look at this. You can do this by submitting a support ticket.
