Default Is their anyway to get a mail when CPANEL completes the backup

    Hi,

I'm looking for a script which can mail me when the cpanel backup process completes. Is their any such script available or any other possibility which can help me to achieve this.

Are you talking about a backup being run from within the end-user cPanel interface or are you talking about the (potentially) nightly run of /scripts/cpbackup?

If you mean the latter, an email should be sent to root when it completes as it's just a cron task.

Make sure you have your emails set correctly in WHM >> Server Contacts >> Change System Mail Preferences. It should be sending you an email each time the cron job completes.

Thanks a lot !! Didn't realized that Cron Daemon sends a mail upon the completion of the backup. Thanks again for the quick responses
