    Default /tmp dir

I have some php files in my tmp dir:

    -rw------- 1 cpanel cpanel 23224942 Jul 9 16:57 php9yAIqs
    -rw------- 1 cpanel cpanel 453695 Jul 9 18:24 phpAKvXcL
    -rw------- 1 cpanel cpanel 1878275 Jul 9 17:35 phpMx9orf
    -rw------- 1 cpanel cpanel 309771 Jul 9 18:31 phpXqBtkM
    -rw------- 1 cpanel cpanel 12498449 Jul 9 17:58 phpYEg2JR
    -rw------- 1 cpanel cpanel 311053 Jul 9 17:42 phpuTatUG

I also have this in there also:

    rw-rw-rw- 1 pch pch 4 Jul 9 16:27 .811.3680d6

Anyone have a clue as to what they are?

    Thanks,

    Tracy

I would assume that they're temporary php files created from a script running from within cPanel. You should be able to remove them if the date+time is older than a few minutes. The latter one is most likely an IMAPD lock file. You can confirm this (if it's still open) by running:

    lsof | grep .811.3680d6
