    Default Tomcat not reading Web.xml

    Hello,
I have installed the tomcat installation and now, We are not able to run a servlet from the home directory because it doesn't read the Web.xml in the WEB-INF corrently. When we put the same site on the Tomcat Directory, the site runs just fine. Any help????

Or, is there a way to make a redirection internally from the website domain to tomcat port without the customer seeing it.

    Thanks,

    Charles

    Default

    Okay,
If others need the solution, here it is.
When cpanel installs Tomcat, by default, it permits you to run a servlet in the /home/xxx/www/servlet ou servlets folder, or any JSP file found. But then, if you want your main address to be show as some java code, you need to change the httpd.conf and in the virtual host of the site, you need to change /home/.../servlet/* to /home/.../public_html/*.

    This solved all my problems.!

    Thanks,

    Charles

Default WARNING: Internal Error: File /WEB-INF/web.xml not found

    Hi,

Me also face same problem with Tomcat via Easyapache 3, the error message i found on catalina.out is WARNING: Internal Error: File /WEB-INF/web.xml not found, this happen after my server crash and i have to reinstall back everything from backup hard disk and after i install easyapache 3, all the Tomcat account are not working as before.

    Please Help

P/S: I did post the issue to Cpanel Ticket but shame, the answer is:

'I am unable to reproduce this specific error, I am seeing some application
specific issues with this program, however.'
