    Default top & jail shell & ircd's

    hi all,

atm i am going to be jailshelling all users - but when testing a few bits myself i noticed that with top they can see all the process on the server... is there anyway of stopping this?

Also, i wish for them to be able to launch BG processes (a limited number of them) and bind them to one IP address.

Unfortunaly its running RedHat 9 so yea, any advice is apprecated

Nope. As PaulTech, you'd need a VPS for that sort of user control. What you could do is simply disable access to top and ps through file permissions, but that could break other things that use them.

forget about top, its not like they can kill any other processes cept there own
