traceaddy.cgi looping?

One of our cpanel servers shows:


PID USER PRI NI SIZE RSS SHARE STAT %CPU %MEM TIME COMMAND
3458 *** 25 0 5628 2900 4176 R 86.3 0.0 166:31 traceaddy.cgi

Checking /proc/3458 shows:
cwd -> /usr/local/cpanel/base/

And sure enough traceyaddy.cgi appears to be a cpanel script - but why would it be running for 166:31 and be taking 86% of the cpu?

Definitely looks like a loop. You could gather some info with a strace and let cPanel know and/or just kill it off.

This also happend to me few times in last two months.

Did anyone contacted cPanel about this issue?
