Transfer sites and move to different account

I am transfering accounts from a virtual server (no root access) to a dedicated server (with root access). I was able to do that successfully but want to move them under a reseller. Can it be done it one swoop or do I have to move it and then transfer it?

What we do is move them to the new server...then authorize an account as a reseller....you would then change ownership of each account.
