    Default Transferring Accounts Problem

I was trying to copy an account from my old server to my new one, and I decided to use "Transfer an Account". I filled in everything with the correct details, and this comes up:

    Packaging the account...

    Hi,

If you feel any hesitation with WHM transfer accounts, then you may follow up another way to transfer the account.

    #) Login to root SSH

    #) Run /scripts/pkgacct username

#) cd /home then ls to see the file. It should look like cpmove-username.tar.gz

#) If you don't see the /home/cpmove-username.tar.gz but you see cpmove-username-split then run the
    /scripts/pkgacct again

#) Take the /home/cpmove-username.tar.gz and copy it over to the /home of the other server using scp command

    scp -rp -P 1291 cpmove-username.tar.gz root@destination ip:/home

#) SSH to the other server and cd /home

#) Do /scripts/restorepkg username in Shell

this should help you to transfer the account

    Thanks

    Question Same problem here

We are having the exact same problem, after upgrading to the latest RELEASE (cPanel 11.16.0-R18546).

We are getting this error on every account we try to transfer. I have a lot of accounts to move from one server to another and can't go through this manual process, even if it works.

I have opened a ticket with cPanel (Ticket #230148).

    - Scott

P.S. if it matters, I am moving accounts from a cPanel 10 server to this cPanel 11 server. I had been successfully moving accounts until the cPanel 11 server got upgraded during yesterday.

P.P.S. OK, I noticed our error starts out with:
    Can't locate YAML/Syck.pm in @INC (@INC contains:
    /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.7/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.7

But we have Perl 5.8.8 of course, before loading cPanel 11. Hmmm....

    Default Resolved!

I was able to resolve this on my own, thanks to advice from user "linux-image" in this thread:

    http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=73431

I updated my ticket with cPanel, to let them know about the fix also.

    Run

    /scripts/perlinstaller --force YAML::Syck

or Install the YAML::Syck perl module in whm under module installers.

    Default Pkgacct size too big

    Hello rbalaji,

I have tried to pkgacct and the output of cpmove- file was over 5 gig in size. The actual disk usage for this account was about 900 MB.

    How can this be?

    Any idea?

    Thanks.

Is it possible that the /account/public_html directory was 900MB?

Go to the home directory of the account, and run this: du -skh *

This will show the space being used in each directory, so maybe the account has logs, etc, that you're packaging as well.

Or I would suggest the following:

    cd /home/USER/
    du -ah --max-depth=1

I tried reinstalling YAML::Syck, but the problem persists.

    Nothing in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error.log

    If I do manually:
    /scripts/pkgacct username
    Segmentation fault (core dumped)

    Still nothing in LOGS,
    Any hints please,

    Lehel
