Trustix+cPanel/WHM Issues with Apache GD & IMAP

Hello.

We are serious probelms with a new box whit trustix and WHM/Cpanel.

Problem it's with GD & Imap and compiling Apache with others PHP configure extras.

On http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread....ht=Trustix+WHM say:

 GD and IMAP should now fully work in easyapache.

But we use WHM 10.1.0 cPanel 10.2.0-S83 Trustix 2.2 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0 and others releases and problem it's same on post.

configure: error: Cannot find rfc822.h. Please check your c-client installation.

Also not compiling anything of options of PHP.

You need to install the imap-devel package which contains that header file.

What imap-devel ?

On my box with Trustix 2.2 any imap package it's instaled.

No, imap-devel is a separate package for those that compile code with imap extensions as you're trying to do with php.

Try running:

/scripts/ensurerpm imap-devel

Ah well, another reason for me to dislike Trustix You should probably take it up with Trustix and ask them how you get the imap header files installed.

have you try using SWUP?

swup --search imap-devel

check swup man, as i'm not too familiar with swup either.

i think the package name is not imap-devel, try this command:

swup --search-package imap

it giving result:
