    Default Two Strange Problems

I had a reseller move 15 accounts over to my server today. Two problems:
    1) SOMEHOW, one account, today alone, has already used over 8gb of bandwidth according to WHM, but they have a limit of 4gb for the month. Any idea why it would let them go so far over...if they have indeed? I really wonder about this, as the dns for the domain is still pointing at the old server, and they have exactly 2 html pages and 5 images uploaded for the account.

    2) I had WHM set to allow this user to setup 2 of a specific account. Yet he was able to setup a total of 15. He said the whole time it kept telling him he had 2 accounts remaining, with a total of 2. Where is this coming from?

I had the very same thing happen on a brand new account/domain today. It had a set transfer limit of 1GB and within moments (maybe 2 hours in actual time) it went up to 2.5 (right after I got the 80% of quota transfer warning email) and then finally to 2.7GB transfered before I could suspend it to investigate.

The account had NOTHING but the skeleton html and such that the server installed when the account was created, as far as I know the client didn\'t even login to their account yet. The domlogs are completely empty too... webalizer has nothing to crunch, so I\'m pretty sure that the transfer didn\'t even occur, WHM/CP just had a bit of a spasm... but it\'s VERY worrisome.

My server-wide bandwidth (MRTG via /proc/dev)didn\'t jump to actually show the transfer, btw.

    Anyone got this problem resolved??

This is getting very wierd and scary. I set a limit of 20GB. But under WHM, it shows up the account has used 170GB bandwidth and has reached 80% bandwidth usage.

PS: This is also a complete new account too.

    Here\'s the solution:
Charge that customer\'s card for 300gb x $3.50 per gb. Then use that profit to buy Plesk.

LOL we actually did charge the customer, since it was a resellers customer, the reseller was responsible for the charges, bill came to $900 i think....

Refunded the money? why? No, we charged the reseller $900 for the overage because

    1. they were hosting a warez site
    2. they were responsible for their end customer

If it was a non-reseller acct, we would have no recourse but to swallow the costs, in this case, it wasnt
