Default Unable to create mailing list

I'm getting an "unable to create mailing list" tried to create in different domains. i'm not sure if this is a recent problem. i have never tried to create one before on this server. Mailing list are enabled both in packages/services and enabled for the individual accounts.
    Any help greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

    It worked for me too!

    Great!

BTW, he refers to logging in as root (using SSH) and doing the following:

    cd /scripts
    ./reinstallmailan

Obviously you must be root to the system to apply this fix.

And something tells me I had to create the user "mailman" before the reinstall script would actually work. Keep that in mind just in case you still have problems:

    # adduser mailman
    # /scripts/reinstallmailman

aliki, there is no space in "/scripts/reinstallmailman". Try it again without spacing the words apart & let me know what happens.

If you are worried at all about proper documentation for subscriptions - you need to backup you mailman logs first. The script in it's infinite wisdom does not believe that the logs required by US and many other countries law as proof of subscription are important enough to save.

They are important enough to backup in cpbackup -just not important enough to save in the reinstall. A little lapse in logic here.
