Is there any official document on which packages are not needed by cPanel and can be safely uninstalled? I found the following tutorial but not sure about the accuracy:

Also, can anybody confirm that:

chmod 711 {/,/home*,/etc,/var,/usr/etc,/usr/local/etc,/var/log,/sbin,/usr/sbin,/usr/local/sbin}
will not cause any problems to cPanel functionality?
