    Default up2date help

okay. it seems that whenever a package is skipped it does not install any of the updates when using the command line up2date -u.

could someone please explain this process to me a little more so I might be able to understand it.

basically what it is doing is solves the dependency problems then tells me which packages are marked to be skipped by my config and then nothing. nothing gets updated and it sits there.

    anyhelp is greatly appreciated.
