    Default Up2date and UPCP

    Hello friends ,

    A little question .

1.In a cpanel server what packages are to be in the " SKIP LIST " in the up2date or Yum

2.Even if it is in the skip list .The UPCP script will update all without looking at the SKIP LIST .

Can any good soul know the answer .I had seen that UPCP runs in its own ways .With out looking at the skip lists .

/scripts/upcp will maintain the applications that it has instructed your OS not to update itself. This includes applications we release customized versions of such as MySQL and applications we compile from source such as Apache and PHP.

I don't have a complete list of applications that should be in the skip list offhand, but if you submit a support ticket, one of our technical analysts can assist you with ensuring your skip list contains the necessary entries.
