    Default upcp Error

    Going to read /root/.cpan/sources/modules/02packages.details.txt.gz
    Warning: Your /root/.cpan/sources/modules/02packages.details.txt.gz
contains a Line-Count header of 17740 but I see 16201 lines there. Please
check the validity of the index file by comparing it to more than one
    CPAN mirror.

Anyone knows what is wrong here?

    tnx in advance

No, but I'm getting the same error on a couple of my boxes.

Looks like cpanel pointed CPAN at a crap archive.

Okay, you can fix this by doing the following:

unixsoft.org is handing out crap information. You'll need to grab from a different cpan mirror.

    1) edit ~root/.cpcpan/MIRRORED.BY

Delete the references to unixsoft.org (should be about 6 lines)

    2) rm -rf /home/.cpan/sources

    /scripts/upcp

Only problem is, your install may be screwed up because these problems may have been encountered during the cpan install.

    the problem persist

    Going to read /home/.cpan/sources/modules/02packages.details.txt.gz
Warning: Your /home/.cpan/sources/modules/02packages.details.txt.gz does not contain a Line-Count header.
Please check the validity of the index file by comparing it to more
than one CPAN mirror. I'll continue but problems seem likely to
    happen.
