update of backend scripts does not work

    Default update of backend scripts does not work

    When I use the function "Update Backend Scripts" in WHM I only get this response:

    Update Client Started....



    That is it, nothing more. Why is there not some progress messages or anything like that?

    I'm fairly sure that the link is incorrect it goes to something like /scripts/updated which does nothing. I think it should go to /scripts/updatenow - which actually does something.

    Somebody with more knowledge than me needs to make a comment.

    I just got a P4 and I am turning in the old faithful. So i figured no harm in running updatenow here is the output

    receiving file list ... done
    wrote 100 bytes read 7424 bytes 15048.00 bytes/sec
    total size is 2821694 speedup is 375.03

    Mean anything to anyone?

    I am 99% sure it means your backend scripts are now updated. i haven't a clue what the speedup figure means.
