Default Update killed my servers! "The server was not able to find the document"

The server was not able to find the document (./scripts3/initial_setup_wizard1) you requested.
Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this
    error to your webhost.

    What the heck!

Got the same message on 30 out of 40 servers, all of them running Centos 4/5. In addition to this, customers on some servers are unable to login to their cpanel (they get a blank page).
    Fun!

    Hi,

I am also getting the same error.

    Error messages:

Try to login WHM and got this error

The server was not able to find the document (./scripts3/initial_setup_wizard1) you requested.
Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this
    error to your webhost.

If I try to login into Cpanel I got the blank page.

I have dedicated server centos 5 can anyone explain it and how to fix that problem?

    Regards,

first kill all running cpanel update processes

    also do a killall upcp

    then do /scripts/upcp --force

    this will fix it

soul3: you can do that by following pirrup's advice.

This occurs because the update is still in progress and that file has not been downloaded yet. We've also see a few servers that have had a process monitor tool kill off upcp in the middle because the update takes so long. However the fix is the same:

    Code:
    /scripts/upcp --force
    -Nick
    cPanel Inc.

The server was not able to find the document (./scripts3/initial_setup_wizard1) you requested.
Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this

    whostmgrd/11.23.6 Server at xx.xx.xx.xx
I used ps aux & cPanel Update (upcp) - Master and Slave are running.
