Default Update Making Mischief with Wordpress

Since the recent update i've been having some serious issues with Wordpress Admin panels.

I have an issue across all my wordpress sites (all self install no MU or wordpress.com stuff)

Im getting the white text issue across a the sites where the text won't show up and refuses to let me open the visual editor.

Also for some unknown reason i cannot add stuff to sidebars.

For a demonstration i did a youtube video that uses a 2.8.6 site a 2.9 site and a fresh install one with no plugins (YouTube - Wordpress Issues)

tried disabling google gears and even uninstalling it but that hasn't helped.

Errors that i get WITH FRESH INSTALL.

when i try to switch editors
    Error: switchEditors is not defined
    Source File: godropbears.com/wp-admin/page.php?action=edit&post=2
    Line: 1

and when i try to add widgets to the sidebar
    Error: illegal character
    Source File: godropbears.com/wp-admin/load-scripts.php?c=1&load=hover...
    Line: 1, Column: 44
    Source Code:
    )+Math.abs(d-n))

    Any suggestions?

Not sure this has anything to do with cPanel.

That said, you might try changing the admin theme just to test that it's not theme specific concerning the white text. As for the not being able to add something, assuming this is even on a cPanel account, check your "Error Log" there in your cPanel for messages that might be helpful like: files missing, can't write to a directory, etc...

Your host can help much more as they know the server and the security that may be the cause of the problems you're having adding/uploading features/modifications to the site.

You will have to check the error logs for the exact error message. You can get the error logs at /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log.
