Updating cpanel PHP changed main server php.ini

Hi, I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this strange problem.

At the weekend I updated the cpanel php on all our servers and now we are getting complaints from users of missing modules, PDO especially. I have looked at the main ini file and found that it was last changed on saturday at around the time I updated the cpanelphp and indeed, some entries are now missing.

I had no idea that using /scripts/makecpphp would cause this problem! Has anyone else experiencd this? How can I prevent it from happening again?

not yet faced this problem, did you run /scripts/updatenow before using /scripts/makecpphp

File in a good bug report at cPanel Bugzilla Main Page or contact cpanel support.
