Apache 2 support in cPanel is supposed to be forth coming by the end of the month.
You can upgrade Apache in WHM > Software > Apache Update.
Yes and it's a crap shoot if you try it. 90% of my Apache builds in the WHM result in Apache being crashed. I wouldn't wish for Apache 2 support if it cant even properly compile Apache 1.3.34. If you want a successful build of Apache you had better use SSH...Of course, then that defeats the whole purpose of buying CPanel doesn't it?
As Sawbuck said, Apache v2.x will be realesed soon. For the time being you can upgrade Apache v1.3.x in WHM > Software > Apache Update.Originally Posted by Dluzion

When will this be available? As I need to upgrade to Apache 2 for some of our new apps to work properly
Sawbuck provided you with the answer to that.
