Upgrading CPanel automatically from WHM

Is it safe to setup in WHM automaticaly upgrade to every new STABLE version of CPanel or there might be some problems ?

That all depends. Some people use auto stable and never have a problem. Some use auto edge and have no problems. Others like myself prefer to use manual stable so we know when it is updated and can be on the lookout for trouble.

It's because there are so many different setups that it's almost impossible to make an update work perfectly for everyone on the first try. The stable is supposed to be out long enough to have been tested on a bigger variety of machines.

I'd suggest starting with auto stable and go from there, although like some have mentioned, the edge release has the advantage of being updated much more often which means more possible problems, but also faster fixes.

It's just like gambling.
