Urchin symbolic link messed up
Hi,
I am having the follwing problems on all my servers where urchin is installed. When cpanel stats are run all the symbolic links gets changed for urchin. lrwxrwxrwx 1 username username 5 Dec 6 12:44 lib -> 1/lib it should be: lrwxrwxrwx 1 username username 5 Dec 6 12:44 lib -> -/usr/local/urchin/lib It seems that cpanellogd can't find the path to urchin or there is some error in cpanellogd that doesn't create the the correct symbolic link. If I try to replace the symbolic link cpanel will just overwrite it. Is any bosy else having this error. Thanks, Ronald |

I am also having same problem all the links which should have been /usr/local/urchin/ have been changed to 1/ for example:-
uicons -> /usr/local/urchin/htdocs/uicon has been changed to:- uicons -> 1/htdocs/uicon and urchin for all the websites stopped working. This is a WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.1-C41 running on RHE3. Any suggestions? Thanks UKA |

I am having a similar problem with all of my 200+ domains failing to execute Urchin ("Unable to access configuration or direct linking is off" when it is NOT off!), and now I am having problems downgrading to "Release" from "Current." After running /scripts/upcp --force, the downgrade stalls after "Resetting MySQL to cPanel Defaults and Installing the Latest Version" as follows:

Well, after an overnight cycling of cPanel updates (to "Release"); Urchin is now working again. But I also had to run /scripts/runweblogs for domains that stopped accumulating Urchin stats on 11/29. I tried running /scripts/runstatsonce, but it did NOT catch-up the Urchin stats. Sure hope cPanel finds and fixes the Urchin bug in the "Current" version (maybe "Edge" too; I don't know about it, but would assume...).
