I have noticed lately that my backups are not finishing. Even when I try to run them manually with /scripts/cpbackup2 it will start the backup proceedure, but when the server load goes over 1.00 (or so) it will stop and wait for the server load to down before it keeps going.

Is there a setting can I tweek so that backup will run above 1 on the server load?

Also, is there a way to schedule backup so that it runs at certain times in the wee hours of the morning? I would like to have half of my accounts backed up on one night and the other half backed up the next night.

What does the extracpu=0 setting do? Would it help to increase that? Any help would be appreciated!
