    Hi,

Open your shadow file (/etc/shadow ) and check if the user is listed there. If not copy the line corresponding to this user from /etc/shadow,v After this, change the password . It should work.

Having a similar problem with cPanel 9.9.8-S14 on FreeBSD 5.2.1 - users cannot change their password via the Change Password link - it appears to change OK, but does not actually change.

I have no /etc/shadow file.. I assume it is in a different location in BSD. Has anyone run into this? Thanks!
