    I, and I think a lot of other users, have it unchecked - and it's not working although.

    Negative. This is not the issue. Thats a separate issue from what we are talking about in here.

    All,

    I don't have any problems with PHP Mail and I'm at 7.1.0-R20.. My forum customers are happily speeding off in the sunset.....
    At least I think so. I am going to do a few tests now just to be sure.

    Sexy_Guy,

    The WHM option (from Tweak Settings)
    ========
    Prevent the user 'nobody' from sending out mail to remote addresses (php and cgi scripts generally run as nobody if you are not using phpsuexec and suexec respectively.)
    ========

    DOES have to do partially with the PHP Mail option. PHP Mail IS a PHP script, so.. it does send mail out as nobody if no phpsuexec is on! I don't have phpsuexec installed, therefore this will affect my PHP Mail stuff if I had it CHECKED.

    Yep, my PHP Mail works just fine. I tested with my forums... so I am not sure what you all are having problems with. Hmm..

    Wish I could help,

    my server still won't get any mailed sent out... i am trying to resolve this problem by downgrade to exim3 but it still give me the same problem... and when i install exim3 i type sendmail (in root), it gave me a error msg... where i upgrade back to 4, and type sendmail, it doesn't give me any, but i still not sure why that the mail just could not be send out...

    We are experiencing a similar problem with our Helpdesk software. The /var/log/exim_mainlog file says:
    PHP Code:
    ourdomain.com (hostname) [12.34.56.78is currently not permitted to relay through this serverPerhaps you have not logged into the pop/imap server in the last 30 minutes or do not have SMTP Authentication turned on in your email client
    In the above ourdomain.com and 12.34.56.78 is the name and IP of the account on the server.

    So it seems like relayd is stopping our domain from sending (like it should with an external sender). We have phpsuexec installed without the option to block mail from nobody.

    Reverting to Exim 3 fixes the problem.

    Can any of the Exim ghurus please tell us how to open Exim for what we should be opening up to allow relaying?

    Sorry, I meant that antirelayd is stopping us from sending.
