User accounts deleted but still exist on system !!!

Hi all,

I'm using WHM 9.9.9 cPanel 9.9.9-R14 on Fedora Core - 1, when I terminated a normal account on my server, it showed no errors and did everything successfully. But when I check the server through the terminal, the user still exists on the system and so does his directories,although the user's httpd.conf's entries were removed !!!!

Anyone care to help me out here .. please...

P.S. I also tried userdel -r username but I get the error [B]userdel: unable to lock password file[/B

Hey all,

It seems that the killacct script was frozen !!! I terminated the process and manually removed the .pwd.lock and group.lock files. Alls well now !
