I'm seeking some advice from those who have used the server version of WHM for some time.

When I generate the mail stats from WHM this is shown:


Top 50 local senders by message count
-------------------------------------

4990 2954080 user1
545 359715 user2
542 9472703 root
127 105362 user3
115 95030 user4 ... etc.

4990 messages for a user that hasn't been with us for more than 3 weeks seems to be very high to me. And the next user has only send 545 messages.

What would you have done in a situation like that? - The user do not have a web site online on account user1 - I don't know if he is using it only for mail. But I'm not sure about when enough is enough - is above 4990 unacceptable and are it real email messages that are send out from this clients account on the server? Is this how spam activity is discovered on a server. Please apology for my ignorance. I'm just trying to learn.
