User maxing our link

Good Afternoon

We have a 1Mb dedicated line, we have been sitting around 0.2 MB most of the time,
We have just added a new user and looks like we are now going 1MB max.

How do we limit the users resources, so our link is not constantly maxed our?

How can we limit a users site to use eg 0.2 M and push them back down

I assume you have root access. You may want to look into mod_throttle and mod_bandwidth.

Search the forums and google for more info, which isn't hard to find.
