User says cPanel hangs with "Detecting Your Internet Connection"
I have a user that claims that when they go to http://www.example.com/cpanel, it hangs with:
Detecting your internet connection . . . If you are not behind a firewall that blocks port 2083 Enter here If you are behind a firewall and can not connect to port 2083 Enter here I cannot duplicate this. Every time I access cPanel to test, I see that message flash on the screen for a few milliseconds, then it redirects me to cPanel just fine. The user claims it does this at the office (on a Mac, using Safari) and at home (on a PC, using IE). The same user says it DOES NOT HANG when using a friend's PC using IE. The user can click the link and get in fine. But the user is wondering why it redirects fine on one computer, but hangs on the other two? I really don't have any ideas... do you? ![]() - Scott |
