Default Users can send emails but don't receive

    Hi everybody,

I have a strange thing since yesterday: my users can send emails but don't receive messages from other domain names.
I'm using a cron job which runs a cmd every 5 mins.
The main account is catchall and I can test it with the following result:

    Connecting to localhost ...
    < +OK POP3 secure [cppop 16.2] at [127.0.0.1]
    > USER catchall@id7.com
    < +OK Need a password
    > PASS ***
< +OK You have 0 messages totaling 0 octets from /home/id7com/mail/id7.com/catchall/inbox (full load)
    > STAT
    < +OK 0 0
    Closing connection.

I already sent emails to id7.com but seems that catchall doesn't receive them... Who can help me?

    THX

Have you tried tailing /var/log/exim_mainlog when sending a message to the domain and seeing if there are any errors. You might also run /scripts/mailperms

You can tail the exim_mainlog with:

    tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog

Then send a message to the domain name. If the message arrives to the server but does not get delivered it should be noted there.

To stop the tail? Just press Ctrl+C

It looks like you have a configuration error with your ClamAV setup. Some of the ClamAV gurus on here, might be able to offer more help. You can try restarting exim and seeing if that fixes the problem:

    /etc/rc.d/init.d/exim restart

    Hi,

Did you have the backup of clame configuratin file. If yes just restore it and try to restart the exim. May possible with this your problem will get slove.
