Using Driver from RH9.0 for RH-EL3 AS

Hi,

I want to change from RH9.0 to Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS ! We use on our Servers Raid-Cards from Promise. Promise have Drivers for RH9.0 and now is the Question if this will also function with Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS ? Promise thinks they should work but they cannot say it 100% !

What do you all out there think about it ?

i tried that with a promise sx6000. i compiled the driver from source code and loaded it on RH v3 ES

the card appeared to work but you have no GUI admin with promise.

i would recommend a 3-ware raid card for redhat.

We running one of them too and no issues at all
