Using my PDA to access email, will this work?

My PDA has a built in version of Outlook (or similiar), I can enter my pop and smtp servers, etc. However I keep getting an error saying the mail can't be sent.

Any help.

If you go into the advanced settings of pocket outlook then you will be able to check the box that says use SMTP authentication,
this is required if you are using a cpanel server to send out email rather than your normal ISP,

I'm using Pocket PC 2003 and I am having the same issue, however I do have my SMTP server requires authentication checked.

Any ideas? No problems sending, but I am seeing a TSL time out error in the exim_mainlog coming from my IP, but I do not have it specified anywhere for it to use SSL connections.
