    Default /usr/bin/killall -HUP syslogd

I've been having logrotate problems for a long time now. So Im trying to figure out why my logs are always blank after rotating. Well i was testing this today, and after the log gets rotated, sending the HUP signal to syslogd DOES NOT make it start logging again. I have to restart the daemon for it to start logging again. Has anyone else had this problem? I am using trustix with sysklogd.
