    cPanel/Enkompass Access Level

    DataCenter Provider

    Default /usr/local/bandmin/IP/Acct.pm line 55?

I keep getting an email from my cPanel server, with the following in the email:

Can't find a backend (ipchains or ipfwadm or ipfw or ipf) at
    /usr/local/bandmin/IP/Acct.pm line 55.
Could somebody please explain what this means and how to fix it?

    Thank You
    -steve

    Hello,

    What is your OS?.
I think , the problem is due to a bug with that particular script.

Make certain iptables is installed (if on Linux). Acct.pm looks in /usr/sbin/iptables for the binary. If iptables is installed, but doesn't place the binary in /usr/sbin/iptables, then create a symlink to that location.
