    Thumbs down /var/tmp

    i've used
    -
    -
    -
    df -h
    command after getting disk space critical!

    it shows


    Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    /dev/hda5 53G 4.5G 45G 29% /
    /dev/hda1 99M 8.4M 86M 19% /boot
    /dev/hda3 1012M 34M 927M 24% /tmp
    none 249M 0 249M 0% /dev/shm
    /tmp 1012M 34M 927M 82% /var/tmp


    here are some log files......But sir which one is use less plz tell me....
    which log should be delete....

    What do you have in /var/tmp?

    You can almost certainly delete any of the following:

    - session files more than X days old, say 7 days or 14 days (personal preference)
    - files that are more than X days old that clearly look like there are of no use (e.g. files that didn't upload correctly via scripts and weren't deleted automatically)
