Virus

Every night cpanel backups all of the accounts to a windows machine in my house. One of my clients recieves a lot of emails with viruses attatched. So exim bounces the mail back to the user. The problem is that since these emailes were generated by the virus the senders email is fake. The email then sits in my mail que for a few days. Eventualy it gets dumped. The problem is that while it is on my server I have a virus on my server. So every night I get a fresh copy of viruses. The only way to avoid this is to check my mail que every day for such emails and delete them. I want to know if there is any script or anyway to have all emails with viruses that are being bounced back to be just deleted. Does anyone have a solution. I can't get rid of this client. I make a lot on him. Thanks.

Try using MailScanner. Search the forum for install instructions posted by Chirpy.

He's excellent in tweaking the settings the way you want it.

MailScanner will give you the options you need to get rid of those viruses.
