Virus Detected; File not Uploaded! (Can't access file /tmp/cpanel.TMP....

Error has to do with uploading via the File Manager.

Currently at:
WHM 10.6.0 cPanel 10.8.0-R27

The solution listed in other posts regarding commenting the "Example" line in the clamav.conf file (in /etc?) do NOT apply, as this line is already commented out.

Any ideas?

You need to look over the settings for clamd.conf

Disable this
# ClamAV can scan within archives and compressed files.
# Default: enabled
#ScanArchive

The reason I say that is if the file exceeds a certain size or
number of directorys clamav assumes its a virus.
Do not forget to restart clamav

Thanks for the response.

I am a little concerned as I belive that ClamAV is also used by the MailScanner stuff that Chirpy installed for us. Wouldn't removing ClamAVs ability to scan within compressed files kill the anti-virus capability of MailScanner?
